Teen injured after falling asleep at wheel, crashing

A teenager was taken to the hospital Friday morning after falling asleep at the wheel and crashing his car.

The accident occurred in the 7100 block of SR 126 (Glendale Milford Road).

Police say Alexander Holden Wilson, 19, of Terrace Park, lost control of his Mercury Sable, went off the right side of the roadway and into a wooded area, where the vehicle rolled on its left side. Wilson told police he fell asleep at the wheel.

Wilson was trapped in the car until he was extricated by the Milford Fire Department and the Indian Hill-Maderia Fire Department.

Wilson was transported to UC Hospital in stable condition. He will be cited for failure to maintain reasonable control. Alcohol and/or drugs are not believed to be factors.

Police looking for more victims in Blue Ash quick change scam

Blue Ash Police are looking for more victims after they arrest a quick change artist on Wednesday.

 A short time before noon, police arrested 49-year-old Gary T. Black of Cincinnati for two counts of attempted theft and two counts of petty theft after several reports of a quick change scheme operating in the city.

 During an investigation, police discovered that on June 30, Black stole $80 from the Buffalo Wings on 4550 Glendale- Milford Road. He also stole $20 from the Bob Evans on 5875 Pfeiffer Road using a quick-change scam.

He tried to steal money at the same Buffalo Wings restaurant on July 5, and at the Red Roof Inn at 5900 Pfeiffer Road on July 6.

 Black was arrested at the Red Roof Inn where he rented a room.

Over 130,000 pounds of equipment recycled during drop-off program

The Hamilton County Recycling and Solid Waste District has collected over 130,000 pounds of computer and TV equipment during its free drop off program.

The program began on May 2 and will continue through Oct. 21. To date, 130,036 pounds of equipment has been collected.

Hamilton County residents interested in participating in this program can drop-off their unwanted computer equipment/TVs from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday at 2trg on 11085 Kenwood Road in Blue Ash. Residents must bring proof of residency, such as a driver's license or utility bill, in order to participate. This program prohibits the acceptance of computer equipment/TVs from businesses, churches, schools and non-profit organizations. 

The Computer & TV Recycling Drop-Off program will also be open on Saturday, October 15th from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The program will be closed on Sept. 5

Police: Man with HIV raped 6-month-old boy

Police: Man with HIV raped 6-month-old boy

SILVERTON, OH (FOX19) - Police have arrested a Silverton man after they say he raped a 6-month-old.

Police say Lenny Love, 29, raped the 6-month-old boy in March. Police also say that Love did so while knowingly carrying HIV.

Police arrested Love Friday and charged him with 2 counts of rape, 1 count of felonious assault and 1 count of possession of marijuana.

Love is at the Hamilton County Justice Center awaiting trial.
