SYCAMORE TOWNSHIP, HAMILTON COUNTY, OH (FOX19) - The Willis Music Company will hold the Grand Opening of their new superstore in the Kenwood Galleria on Thursday, September 22. 

Located between Half Price Books and Golf Exchange on Montgomery Road northeast of the Kenwood Mall, this new location will be a complete retail music store with sheet music, band instrument rentals, lesson studios, repairs and an auditorium. 

Willis Music has a long history of providing products and services in the Cincinnati area.

CINCINNATI (FOX19) - City officials and the Home Builders Association of Greater Cincinnati will continue their partnership at the ribbon cutting of the latest CiTiRAMA®, this year in Bond Hill. 

This is the tenth CiTiRAMA®. The partnership between Blueprint for Success and the Home Builders, an effort pairing students in the construction trades with various builders will be featured as well. The Home Show is scheduled from September 17 – September 25, with price points in the mid to upper $200,000’s. This is part of the City’s continuing efforts to increase homeownership and leverage neighborhood investment. 

The event is at 10:00 a.m.

CINCINNATI (FOX19) - Bond Hill-based TechSolve has cancelled a statewide industry rally at the Wright B. Flyer Hanger in Miamisburg, Ohio near Dayton.  The company says this was done due to unforeseen circumstances.

CINCINNATI (FOX19)- National Aerospace Week is recognized September 11th-17th, and Bond Hill-based TechSolve is joining in the celebration by hosting a statewide industry rally at the Wright B. Flyer Hanger in Miamisburg, Ohio near Dayton.  In 2010, Congress officially recognized contributions of the American aerospace industry to America’s security, technological security and economy by establishing National Aerospace Week. 

The aerospace and defense industry employs approximately 800,000 workers directly, supporting more than 2 million middle-class jobs in related fields. In addition to the state’s rich history in aerospace and aviation, today Ohio accounts for 17% of the aircraft engine manufacturing industry. TechSolve and other companies across the state are involved in the Aerospace Industries Association’s Second to None campaign, promoting the U.S.

AWOP Event to Transform Cincinnati through Prayer, Community Initiatives

SYMMES TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) - Ed Silvoso, one of the world’s leading practitioners of city-wide and national spiritual transformation, will speak at At Work on Purpose’s “Transform Our World” event on harnessing the creativity and energy of Christians in the work place.

He will also urge Christian businesspeople to transform Cincinnati by getting involved in Pray4Cincinnati, a city-wide Adopt-A-Street initiative where people pray for individuals and businesses in all of Cincinnati’s 52 neighborhoods, one block at a time. The initiative has helped heal communities and spur economic development in cities across the world.

The event will be held at Montgomery Community Church, 11251 Montgomery Road, in Symmes Township, on Saturday, Aug. 27 from 8 a.m.

Adecco employees bike for kids' program

LOVELAND, OH (FOX19) - On August 27th, Adecco Group North America employees and local companies will be participating in a 50+ mile charity bike tour. Saturday’s event in Warren and Clermont Counties is part of a 40 -city bike tour starting from Vancouver, BC and ending in Jacksonville, FL.

Funds raised that day will be donated to the Whiz Kids City Gospel Mission. Whiz Kids is a literacy-based, one-to-one tutoring and mentoring program. The program partners with more than 75 local churches and 60 public elementary schools, reaching at-risk youth in the Cincinnati area.

The riders will covering one of two routes, the longer from Loveland to Morrow and back, and the other going to and from Miamiville.

Restaurant runs Munoz Foundation fundraiser August 23

BLUE ASH, OH (FOX19)- The Jersey Mike's in Blue Ash is teaming up with the Anthony Munoz Foundation to host a fundraiser on Tuesday, August 23rd from 5pm-8pm. 20% of the proceeds going to the Foundation.

The Anthony Munoz Foundation helps over 10,000 underprivileged kids every year. And at the heart of the foundation is a true role model and community leader, Anthony Munoz himself. 

Munoz will be there personally to meet everybody, sign autographs and there will be a drawing at the end of the night for an autographed football signed by the Hall-of-Famer.
