Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day celebrated at the Public Library | Community Spirit

CINCINNATI (FOX19) - This January, the Public Library of Cincinnati and Hamilton County will honor the life and the dream of America’s greatest champion of racial justice, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Locations throughout Hamilton County will celebrate MLK Day with art, music, stories, songs, and more.

LEARN AFRICAN & HAITIAN DANCE! WITH JEANNE SPEIER: Feel the beat of the drum; experience the strength and grace of this dance as an expression of the African culture and heritage. She has been to Haiti and has performed with the Katherine Dunham Dance Troupe at the Carnegie Hall. Come to the Anderson Branch Library and learn the “Welcoming,” “Harvest,” and “Snake” dances.
