Youth employees to be honored in Madisonville by CRC | Community Spirit

MADSIONVILLE, OH  (FOX19) - The Cincinnati Recreation Commission will honor 80 youth at the Madisonville Recreation Center  on Thursday, August 9 at 6:30 pm.  These 80 young people worked throughout the summer for CRC with the Green Team, Summer Day Camps and with the Mentoring program.

Council Member Yvette Simpson and Recreation President, Dawn Denno, will be on hand to congratulate them and explain how this experience will help them with job skills that they will need to become gainfully employed once they graduate from school.

CRC’s Recreation Employment Corp. is part of Mayor Mallory’s focus on youth employment and gives these young people the opportunity to earn a paycheck in a positive environment.
