CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Have you started your spring cleaning early? Have your kids or teens outgrown their book and movie collections? Or maybe you’re downsizing from a house to a condo. Whatever the reason, the Anderson Township Library Association (ATLA) is looking for your books, CDs and DVDs.

Every year ATLA holds two used book sales to benefit the Anderson and Mt. Washington branch libraries. Last year the proceeds from the summer sale and the holiday sale totaled $40,000. Over the past 30 years, ATLA has raised more than $1 million in funds for the two libraries.

This money allows the two branch libraries to buy items and pay for programs that are not part of the regular budget. These purchases include computers and software, iPads, yoga classes, additional books and DVDs, puppet shows, and the Miss Liz music programs.
