Man wanted for $1800 cash theft at Meijer

 

CINCINNATI (FOX19) - Cincinnati Police are looking for a man walked out of the Oakley Meijer store with more than $1800 in cash.

On 12/20/11 at about 9:50 p.m., the unknown man entered Meijer store located at 4825 Marburg Av.  During checkout, he got over $1800.00 cash from the checkout clerk and walked out of the store, entered a white sedan parked in the lot, and left. 

The same person attempted "quick change" scams at two other Meijer locations but was unsuccessful.  If anyone can identify the suspect in the video/picture, they are asked to contact Crimestoppers 513-352-3040 or Det. Charles Zopfi, 513-979-4435.

Hamilton County Park Rangers investigating credit card theft and use

 

CINCINNATI (FOX19) - Hamilton County Park Rangers are asking for your help in identifying a man wanted for Misuse of Credit Cards. 

He is accused of using credit cards that were stolen from a vehicle at Armleder Park, which is off Wooster Pike in Linwood near Lunken Airport, on October 17, 2011.  The cards were used to purchase gift cards and other merchandise valued at over $1600. 

The rangers describe him as a white male, average height and weight in his 30’s with a beard and mustache.  He was wearing a Bengals sweatshirt and UC hat.  He appeared to be driving a mid-sized light colored vehicle.  Police want anyone who has any information on this offense to contact Crime Stoppers at 352-3040.  All calls are anonymous and callers may be eligible for a cash reward.

Police looking for woman after theft from car at Mariemont Senior Center

MARIEMONT, OH (FOX19) - The Mariemont Police Department is investigating a theft from a car which occurred December 10 around 8 p.m. in the parking lot of Mercy St. Theresa Senior Center on Miami Avenue.

The victim's car window was broken out and a purse containing credit cards, check books, and photo identification were taken.  Shortly after the theft, the credit cards were used fraudulently at the Target and Meijer stores on Marburg Avenue in Oakley.

Store video shows 2 men and a woman using the cards to purchase over $3,000 worth of gift cards.

The police have a released a photo of the woman leaving the store.

Silverton man indicted on charges he raped girl

CINCINNATI (FOX19) - A 42-year-old man from Silverton is in the Justice Center, accused of raping a girl under 13. 

Derek McCray was indicted by a Hamilton County grand jury on 12 counts of rape and three counts of gross sexual imposition for incidents the police said happened on 5 occasions in Hamilton County, Montgomery County, and in Alabama.  Police say some of those occasions involved multiple acts of rape. 

Besides the Silverton address that was listed by the police, the indictment lists an address in Miamisburg in Montgomery County. 

McCray is being held without bond, at least until he is arraigned in Common Pleas court.

SYCAMORE TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) - The Hamilton County Sheriff's Office has released more surveillance photos of a suspect who is accused of robbing an armored van security guard outside the Sycamore Township Toys R Us.

The images show the suspect inside the Toys R Us store prior to the robbery, which occurred on the afternoon of Dec.

Three credit card fraud suspects caught on video

OAKLEY, OH (FOX19) - Cincinnati police are investigating the theft and misuse of a credit card in Oakley.  Surveillance cameras at 4825 Marburg Avenue captured the three individuals exiting  the store after using the credit card on Nov. 24.

The first image is of the suspect that is believed to have taken the credit card, then used it. The next two images are of suspects who used the credit card at the same location.

Police: Suspect takes purse from Walgreens employee

PLEASANT RIDGE, OH (FOX19) - Cincinnati Police are investigating the theft of a purse from the Walgreens store located at Montgomery Road in Pleasant Ridge. The purse belonged to an employee working at the time. Store video from July 29, 2011 shows a female white with a tattoo on her right shoulder blade reach under the counter and take the purse.
