BLUE ASH, OH (FOX19)- About
40 boys from across the Tri-State brushed up on baseball fundamentals at the George Foster Baseball Boot Camp on Wednesday in Blue Ash.
kids also receive a lesson in character development.

city. They learn baseball fundamentals like hitting, catching and
throwing and character military traits of the army.

the right choices when nobody's looking. We hope they take some of these skills
home and spread it among their friends, their family," said Brondhaver.
Cincinnati Reds Hall of Fame inductee George Foster says the boot camp also stresses life skills.
"It's fun. It helps me to stay young or feel young and helps the kids to grow
to that next level, and the confidence is very important and that's what we try
to emphasize," Foster explained.
Nine-year-old Kameron Boggs of Roselawn added he's learning things that will help
him beyond the baseball diamond, "Teaches us more about life, like how to be a
better person and how to progress in life and get better in life."
The boys will graduate Thursday with improved baseball skills and a better outlook
on life which will help them into adulthood.
