UPDATE: All lanes now open at 71 & Fields Ertel | News
CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19)- All lanes are now open after an overturned semi stopped traffic for three miles on a busy interstate.
It happened late Monday afternoon during rush hour on NB 71, at Exit 19. That's the Mason Montgomery/Fields Ertel exit.
Traffic was backed up all the way to the Pfeiffer Road exit for over an hour.
Around 5:40, traffic began to flow again when the left two lanes were reopened. At 6:20, the semi truck was uprighted and towed away.
The ramps from E and W 275 to N 71 are still closed by police.
Five people were injured and taken to the hospital where they were treated and released, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
