Council votes to turn former Blue Ash Airport into park
News

BLUE ASH, OH (FOX19)- City Council voted on Thursday evening regarding the former Blue Ash Airport.

Council members voted six to one to move forward with plans to change the former airport into a park.

The one opposing vote came from Blue Ash mayor, Mark Weber.

Many people came out for the meeting to voice their opinion on the issue, including several pilots who expressed opposition to the property turning into a park.

The City of Cincinnati owns and operates the airport. In March, it was decided that the airport would be shut down because it didn't make sense financially to continue with operation.
