Former Mariemont Police Chief Don Shanks passes away | News
Former Mariemont Police Chief Don Shanks has passed away at age 88 Friday.
Col. Shanks served as chief for 33 years and then went on to serve as Mayor of the Village of Mariemont for 4 years.
The visitation for Col. Shanks will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Hodapp Funeral Home on Vine Street in Carthage, and his funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Mariemont Community Church Parish Center on Plainville Road.
His cause of death has not been released at this time.
