MARIEMONT, OH (FOX19) - There will be no parking signs posted on all streets in Mariemont affected by the Flying Pig Marathon course which will take place on Sunday, May 5.

Parking in Mariemont will be restricted from 5am - 12 noon.

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19)- Total Quality Logistics (TQL) will bring one of the newest crazes in running to the city of Cincinnati this October with its first annual TQL Urban Race.

An urban race is an obstacle-style run that aims to test runners' strength and stamina, as well as their speed. It is held on city streets and provides dozens of grueling hurdles to challenge competitors' physical limits.

"TQL Urban Race will reflect, in many ways, the culture of our company – competitive, challenging, daring, but ultimately very rewarding for those who are willing to put in the hard work," said Jeff Montelisciani, TQL senior vice president of sales.

Rock legends headline Red, White & Blue Ash

BLUE ASH, OH (FOX19)- A famous band is set to rock Red, White & Blue Ash with a free concert.

Midnight Special is scheduled to open for rock legends, Foreigner.

Foreigner have sold almost 80 million albums worldwide with hit songs including Juke Box Hero, Feels Like the First Time, Head Games, Cold As Ice and I Want to Know What Love Is.

Red, White and Blue Ash will also feature a brilliant fireworks show by Rozzi's Famous Fireworks.

Travel writer Patricia Schultz to visit Main Library May 11

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Meet bestselling travel writer Patricia Schultz, author of 1,000 Places to See Before You Die, at the Main Library Saturday, May 11 at 2 p.m. in the Reading Garden Lounge.

Schultz has a dream job: traveling the globe and writing about it. She is the author of the international No. 1 bestsellers, 1,000 Places to See Before You Die and 1,000 Places to See in the United States and Canada Before You Die. With these works, she has reinvented the idea of travel book as both wish list and practical guide. She was chosen by Forbes as one of the 25 most influential women in travel, and was executive producer of the Travel Channel’s TV show based on her first 1,000 Places book.

Vigil held to remember Blue Ash mother

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19)- A vigil was held in Blue Ash for a young woman who died Saturday morning.

Danielle Mount, 33, was diagnosed with Pulmonary Hypertension, or high blood pressure in the arteries of your lungs. Mount received a heart transplant a year ago and fought a courageous battle for her health.

Sadly, her body rejected the transplant.

Friends and family of Mount gathered in Blue Ash on Saturday to remember Mount.

"Our family is celebrating her life and her trip to be with Jesus in heaven," said Mount's uncle, Bill Rahe.

Mount leaves behind her husband and seven-year-old son.

Community to help beautify Alms Park for Green-Up Day

MOUNT LOOKOUT, OH (FOX19) - Green-Up Days are about community involvement to help clean-up and maintain Cincinnati Park areas in their neighborhoods.

The Friends of Alms Park are looking for volunteers to join the Green-Up Day on Saturday, April 27 from 9am - 11:30am in Alms Park.

Projects in the park may include mulching playgrounds, leaf cleaning, picking up trash, painting garbage cans, planting bulbs or removing invasive honeysuckle and garlic mustard.

Tools and lunch will be provided on the day of the event.

Police investigate report of man exposing self

Police investigate report of man exposing self

OAKLEY, OH (FOX19) - Police are investigating reports of a man exposing himself in Oakley Square.

A call came in around 6:30 a.m. Friday of a man standing outside of Pure Barre on Madison Road wearing dark clothing, and exposing himself.

The man took off before officers arrived.
