Blue Ash doing survey about new park

Blue Ash doing survey about new park

BLUE ASH, OH (FOX19)  - The City of Blue Ash is conducting a survey of what kinds of things people might want on a new park to be built on the portion of the Blue Ash Airport land sold by the City of Cincinnati to the City of Blue Ash.

The sky seems to be the limit for ideas that range from natural preserve areas to lakes to restaurants, cafes, or coffee beer or wine bistros overlooking the park.

There are also question about how much people might like or dislike some of those activities, as well as questions about where people taking the survey live and how much they might use a park there.

To take the survey, click here.

Construction can start on Rozzi property park

SYMMES TOWNSHIP (FOX19)- Symmes Township trustees approve construction contracts for a new park on the Rozzi property.

The park will include baseball and soccer fields, a veterans' memorial wall, bus drop-off, two dry playgrounds, walking paths and two restroom facilities and a shelter.

The over $3.2 Million project will be paid for by the fund to support the Rozzi property and some from the general fund or township park fund.

Symmes Township residents passed a 1-mill, three-year replacement park levy in November 2009 that brings in $650,000 annually.

All of the site work, foundations and road work will be complete in time for the event next April.
