COLUMBIA TUSCULUM, OH (FOX19) - Green Dog Café, the Columbia Tusculum restaurant known for sustainability and organic food options, now has a sibling restaurant next door called Buz. 

A ribbon-cutting ceremony for Buz us being held on Friday at 11 a.m. at the location in the 35-hundred block of Columbia Parkway.

In August 2009, Green Dog Café was the recipient of a Grow Cincinnati loan, in the amount of $211,000 dollars for leasehold improvements and working capital.  The Grow Cincinnati Loan Fund is a small business lending partnership offered by the City of Cincinnati and The National Development Council. 

CINCINNATI (FOX19) - O’Bryon’s Irish Pub in O’Bryonville will host a St. Baldrick’s Foundation head-shaving event to raise funds and awareness for life-saving childhood cancer research on Thursday, March 29.

With a goal of raising $15,000, nearly 30 participants had registered as of Wednesday.  This event will be held in honor of St. Baldrick’s Honored Kid Eli W., diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia at 2 years old, who is the son of a third-year medical student at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine.

CINCINNATI (FOX19) - Anyone born on February 29 will eat for free this year on their birthday at the newly remodeled Hyde Park Hitching Post. 

Leap year's day babies only get to celebrate their actual birth date every 4 years, so the Hitching Post wants them to remember February 29, 2012 as a special birthday.

Leapsters will receive a free breakfast, lunch, or dinner (valued up to $9.95) and a free dessert.  This offer is available for dine-in only. All that is required is a valid driver's license or state I.D. to verify date of birth.
