Precinct named to national top 100 restaurant list
CINCINNATI (FOX19) - Jeff Ruby’s Precinct, the oldest fine dining restaurant in Cincinnati, has been named to the list of “Top 100 Best Overall Restaurants in the Nation” by OpenTable.com, an online restaurant reservation service. Opened in 1981 as the first restaurant for the award-winning restaurateur, Ruby, The Precinct is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year and recently completed an expansion.
“These winners have proven they are at the top of their game every day, making certain that every aspect of a guest’s visit is both delicious and divine,” said Caroline Potter, chief dining officer of OpenTable.
The top 100 were determined by more than 10 million reviews submitted by diners for more than 12,000 U.S. restaurants since December 2010. The honorees span 34 states and Washington, D.C. North Carolina tied the dining mecca of California with ten winning restaurants, while New York eateries claimed seven spots.
