SYCAMORE TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) - To read or not to read? That is not the question for students at Edwin H. Greene Intermediate School. The question is: what to read?

“Right now, nationally-known author Gordon Korman’s popular books are flying off the shelves at both our school and the public library in preparation for his visit on April 11,” said Becky Sloan, Edwin H. Greene media specialist.

Korman’s works include three of the popular “39 Clues” books; the “Everest” series; and the recently published fifth book in the “Swindle” series, “Hideout”.  His first book was published when he was just 14-years-old, giving him a special connection with his readers.

“Korman’s main characters are teens or pre-teens and the students definitely relate to them, their victories and their struggles,” explained Sloan.

After reading some—or, in some cases, many—of Korman’s books, students agreed.
