CINCINNATI (FOX19) - Both community and city officials, including Mayor Mark Mallory, were present at the dedication ceremony and re-opening of the Pleasant Ridge Branch library on Monday.
The project took six years to develop and complete, and makes the library accessible for all members of the neighborhoods of Pleasant Ridge, Silverton, Kennedy Heights, Ridgewood and Amberley Village.
The Pleasant Ridge Branch Library at 6233 Montgomery Road closed earlier this month for the final phase of construction, which included painting the interior of the branch, installation of the service desk, and assembly and placement of new furniture.
New additions also include an assessible elevator, new restrooms, additional back drop, as well as more room for customers and staff.
