Have a donut on Valentine's Day... it's free

(FOX19) - Every Busken Bakery, Remke-Biggs, and Cincinnati/Dayton United Dairy Farmers will be giving away one free Lite Hearted Donu on Valentine's Day  to every customer while supplies last.

The Lite-Hearted Donu is a heart-shaped glazed donut targeted to calorie-counting consumers. Each donut contains just 140 calories, 2.5 grams of fat, and zero trans fat and zero saturated fat.

“This year we're giving our hearts to the Queen City,” commented Busken Bakery president, Dan Busken. “As it turns out, our hearts are sweet, low calorie, and romantically guilt-free.” 

This will be the largest giveaway in the company’s history, as the combined forces of over 150 stores hands out thousands of free donuts to customers around the city.

The Lite-Hearted Donut™ will be available at all 10 Busken Bakery locations, 135 United Dairy Farmers, and 13 Remke-Bigg’s.

Nike set to hire team members for Rookwood outlet store

NORWOOD, OH (FOX19) - The Nike Factory Store opening soon at Rookwood Tower in Norwood needs a few good people to join their team.

A Nike Open House Hiring event is being held on February 5 & 6 inside of Suite 600 at Rookwood Tower. An information flyer was released about the hiring event on Thursday.

Available positions include, Assistant Head Coach, Lead Athlete, Seasonal Athlete as well as part-time and full-time Athletes. The event is being held between the hours of 10am - 7pm both days.

The new Nike Outlet store is scheduled to open in March.

Matthew 25 Ministries partnering with Family Dollar for holiday fundraising

BLUE ASH, OH (FOX19) - Matthew 25 Ministries and Family Dollar are teaming up for a four-week holiday fundraising initiative to benefit the non-profit organization.

Donations began this week as guests who visit local Family Dollar stores have the oppurtunity to donate to Matthew 25.

“After learning how many Cincinnati-area residents are assisted by this organization each holiday season, we wanted to lend a hand,” said Howard Levine, Chairman and CEO of Family Dollar. “We are thrilled to be teaming up with such an incredible organization, and I know that together, we can help provide a happier holiday season to many in the Cincinnati region."

This special program will be held at Cincinnati-area Family Dollar stores through December 19.

CINCINNATI, OH(FOX19) - It seems like holiday shopping starts earlier and earlier every year. And what better way to kick off this year’s season than with the Anderson Township Library Association’s annual Holiday & Nearly New Used Book Sale Nov. 8-10 at the Anderson Branch Library.
