CINCINNATI (FOX19)- Bond Hill-based People Working Cooperatively is asking the Tri-State to vote daily now through August 31 to help win $25,000 from the Home Depot Foundation.
People Working Cooperatively, a local nonprofit that provides critical home repairs, modifications and weatherization services for elderly low-income people, is competing in The Home Depot Foundation Aprons in Action Facebook contest.
PWC is competing against three other nonprofits across the country for $25,000 in gift cards from The Home Depot. More than one week into the voting, PWC is in third place.
Should PWC win the nonprofit plans to use the funds on critical home repairs and modifications for low-income, elderly and disabled homeowners in the 20 counties it serves. The winner will be determined by the number of votes secured throughout the month of August.
The voting is open to all registered Facebook users through Noon on Wednesday, Aug.
