Madeira high school Homecoming on Friday

MADEIRA, OH (FOX19) - Madeira High School will be celebrating homecoming on Friday, October 8 with a parade on Miami Avenue beginning at 6:00p.m.  Miami Avenue will be closed to all vehicular traffic between Laurel Avenue and Loannes Drive from 5:45 until 7:00p.m.

Columbia Township road has reopened to thru traffic

MADEIRA, OH (FOX19) - Your commute through Madeira should get a little easier starting on Monday, August 30. Muchmore Road between Miami and Walton Creek Roads has reopened to thru traffic.

Roads in Madeira to re-open on Monday

MADEIRA, OH (FOX19) - Kenwood Road between Whetsel Avenue and Shawnee Run Road will reopen to two-way traffic beginning Monday, July 19 at 6:00 p.m.

The road will be open to local traffic only. Through traffic is to still detour around the construction. Until further notice, the speed limit on Kenwood Road during the remaining construction work will be reduced to 25 miles per hour.

The contractor will be installing the sidewalk on the east side of the street during this period; the speed limit is being reduced to protect the workers.

Metro layover closed down to set up for farmer's market

MADEIRA, OH (FOX19) - The metro layover is closed down to set up a farmers market every Thursday.

The layover is usually in front of the US Bank on Miami Avenue.

The Madeira farmer's market is open every Thursday thru October.

Accident shuts down highway

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19)- An Accident 275 southbound south of the Loveland Madeira exit (exit 52) closed the highway for about a half an hour.

All lanes are now open.

Loveland parade & fireworks

LOVELAND, OH (FOX19)- The City of Loveland's Fourth of July Parade begins at 7:00 p.m. Sunday at the Loveland Primary School. The parade travels north on Loveland Madeira Road and then east on W. Loveland Avenue to Karl Brown Way. Motorists can expect traffic delays with intermittent closures of side streets along the parade route.

Fireworks begin at dusk. At the conclusion of the fireworks, motorists can expect intermittent road closures and traffic delays along Loveland-Madeira Road and West Loveland Avenue, including the Paxton Bridge. To avoid the delays, motorists can get to the eastern portion of Loveland by taking Branch Hill Loveland Road off of Loveland Madeira Road.

Loveland car accident

LOVELAND, OH (FOX19)- A crash in the 6700 block of Oakland Road in Loveland sends one person to the hospital.

Police say a Jeep rolled over just after six this morning and the person was ejected from the car.

Aircare transported the person to the hospital. There is no work on their condition.
